Shirley Bourdier Senette Hebert, 88, a native of Patterson and longtime resident of Franklin, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Miss Shirley is survived by two sons, Douglas John Senette, Jr. and his wife, Felicia, of St. Francisville, and Thomas C. Senette and his wife, Bessie, of Lafayette; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas John Senette, Sr.; her second husband, Michel Hebert, Sr.; her parents, Oscar J. Bourdier, Sr. and Zoe Bourgeois Bourdier King; one brother, Oscar J. Bourdier, Jr.; and one sister, Frances B. Johnston.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed Thursday, June 25, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church from 9 a.m. until time of service.

The Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at the church. Officiating the services will be the Rt. Rev. Charles Jenkins and Rev. Francis Daunt. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Mary's Memorial Fund P.O. Box 95 Franklin, LA 70538.
