Derrek was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed sharing time with family and friends. He especially loved goofing around with his nephew, Nicholas. They were the best of friends. He will certainly be missed, and everyone will carry his memory forever in our hearts. Derrek is preceded in death by his grandfather Jimmy Feemster. Those left to celebrate his life are his parents Garry and Nancy Bridges of Red Oak, TX; a sister, Kristi Todd and husband Jimmie of Wylie, TX; two nephews Nicholas Todd and Aiden Todd of Wylie, TX; a son Lealon Wayne Bridges of Slidell, LA; paternal grandmother, Wilma Bridges and husband Eugene of Terrell, TX; maternal grandmother Pauline Feemster of Kemp, TX; as well as uncles and cousins and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday November 11, 2009 from 6-8 pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, TX. Services will be on Thursday November 12, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Anderson Clayton Bros.
