Milt was born at Allentown, (now Allensville) Vinton Co., Ohio, and moved to Hardin Co., with his parents. He and Dora (Shuster) were married March 20, 1897 in Ada, Hardin Co., Ohio, where they lived until about 1910 when they moved to Columbus. Their youngest son, Harold, was born in Columbus, while their oldest five were all born in Ada. His brother Sylvanis, "Frank" was a building contractor. Milt worked as a carpenter for his brother's company. He helped build the Old Senacca Hotel in Columbus, that his brother was the contractor on.. After Dora passed away in 1930, he remained single until he passed in 1953 at the home of his oldest son, Charles Lloyd, in Trumbull Co., Ohio.
