Jimmy W. Breshears, 61, went home to be with the Lord, on November 16, 2009, surrounded by his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on June 5, 1948. He was in the first graduating class of Richard King High School and attended Del Mar College, and Texas A&M. He served in the Marine Corp. and went into Banking thereafter.

He enjoyed talking about the Alamo and his deep love for Texas history to his family and friends. He had a large collection of books, films, and memorabilia of the Alamo.

He is survived by his father, Elmo Breshears, Corpus Christi, three sisters, Marilyn Shober, New Jersey, Gloria Moser, Alvin, Texas, and Linda Lowrey, Corpus Christi. His son, Jason Breshears, his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Breshears, and two grandchildren, Hayley Breshears, and Hannah Breshears, Spring, Texas.

He enjoyed playing basketball, and playing golf on the computer with his long time friend Gordon Daniel, San Antonio.

He will be missed by all that knew him and that loved him.
