Mrs. Mabel Clayton Haidek of Hillsboro died at her home Saturday.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Chapel in Hillsboro, Rev. Bob Moon and Father Raul Prieto officiated. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery in West.
Mrs. Haidek was a native of West, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.C. Clayton. She had lived in Hillsboro for the past 45 years, she taught school in Hill County for 40 years and for five of those years taught in Hillsboro. She and John Haidek were married 45 years ago.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro.
Survivors include her husband, John Haidek; a brother, W. Elmer Clayton of Denison; and two nephews, Dr. Stanley L. Clayton of Denison and Leon Adderhold of Atlantic City, N.J.
