Cloyd C. Chaffee
LOCKOOD Cloyd C. Chaffee, 69, Rt. 1, Lockwood, died at 11:30 A.M. Monday in Warren General Hospital, where he was a patient two weeks.
Born Feb 16, 1898 in Greene Township, he was the son of Oren and Belle Casterline Chaffee. On May 12, 1923, he married Laura Shoemaker, who died in 1956.
He was a farmer and a life-long resident of Greene Township and a member of the Greene Community Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ilda Zimmerman of Cleveland, a niece; and a nephew. A son and three brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home, Cortland. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greene.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
