Surviving are six children: Susan A. (Keith) Homan, Jane M. (Guy) Hilleary, Joseph H. (Deborah) and Michael L. (Guadalupe) Hoying, all Celina, Richard L. Hoying, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Donn L. Hoying, Celina; a sister, Marcille (Charles) Hoying, Minster; two sisters-in-law:Janet Hoying and Rita Hoying, both Minster; and thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Ronda Hoying; a grandson, Andrew J. Hoying; and two brothers linked below.
A 1946 graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School*, she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, both Celina. She enjoyed working alongside her husband in the family business. She enjoyed life working in her home and garden. She was an avid book reader and solving crossword puzzles and building jig saw puzzles. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her children and their families, along with attending functions involving her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. John Tonkin officiating and Co-Celebrant Rev. David Hoying. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
