Constance I. Adair, 84, of 316 S. Ridgewood Drive died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

Born April 28, 1916, in Canton to Ira D. and Ruth Wyatt Westerfield, she married Thomas Adair on May 31, 1941, in Union City, Tenn. He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann (and George) McKay of Loveland, Ohio, and Diantha (and Ken) Sarver of Chillicothe; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

She worked as a practical nurse for 10 years at Sweeney Convalescent Home in Peoria.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Weber Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Richard Adair, her nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in LaSalle Cemetery in rural Chillicothe.

Memorials may be made to Rescue 33.
