Archie was the son of Mary Molly Foster and her first husband, George Monday (b. 1868). Archie was enumerated with the Monday name in the 1900 and 1910 U.S. Censuses, but by the 1920 Census he had adopted his step-father's surname, Wilkerson. He married Rhona Alice Fry on November 16, 1935 at LaSalle, Illinois. She was the daughter of Harry Fry and Pearl Miller.
