He was born Nov. 14, 1885, and had farmed in the Elk community all his life before moving to Austin in January.
Funeral services were Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk with Rev. Patrick Murphy officiating. Burial was in Tours cemetery.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Annie Mach of Abbott, Mrs. Pauline Novosad and Mrs. Mary Brown of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Regina Zatopek of Austin; five sons, Frank of Axtell, August and Ernest of Waco, Raymond of Corpus Christi and Joe of Austin; one sister, Mrs. Annie Cinek of West; one brother, Joe Dulak of Elm Mott.
