Amelia C. Schneider

ORLAND-Amelia C, Schneider who was born June 19, 1898, died suddenly Sunday.
Mrs. Henry Schneider, resident of Orland since 1946, has for more than twenty years been a primary influence in musical education, in the establishment and administration of a musical scholarship fund for children, in a ministry of music as organist in the Federated Church and the Christian Science Church, and in a life lived in joyful testimony to the Grace of God and the miracle of music.
She is a member of the Music Teachers' Association, the National Guild of Piano Teachers, and the Organ and Piano Teachers' Association.
She is survived by her sisters, Esther Connell (Mrs. Wm. A) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Hilda Greequist (Mrs. Kenneth L.) of Rancine, Wisconsin, and her children, Rosalind Haswell (Mrs. David) of DeForest, Wisconsin, Evangelin M. Miller (Mrs. W. Kenneth) of Sacramento, California, Peter F. Schneider of Amherst, Massachusetts, Daniel J. Schneider of Dallas Texas, and Henry J. Schneider of Sunol, California and thirteen grandchildren.
Memorial gifts, instead of flowers, for the Amelia Schneider Music Scholarship Fund may be sent to First Western bank, Orland, California.
The memorial service will be held at the Federated Church, First Street, Orland, Wednesday, August 29 at 2 p.m. - Transcribed by E.
