HAMACHER - Raymond Martin Hamacher, aged 87, of Wyoming, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2009. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corp during WWII. During his career, Raymond was a radio engineer for WHTC in Holland and at the University of Michigan from 1981-1996 for station WVGR. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Enid "Gerry" Hamacher; sons, Jack and Kathy Hamacher, Bruce Hamacher; grandchildren, Lisa Hamacher, Rick and Ruby Hamacher, Cpl. Christopher Hamacher; great-grandson, Arik; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jackie Kolkman, Wilma and Harold Akkerman, Sid Posthuma, Hank and Pat Posthuma, Joyce and Don Lubbers, Yvonne Postuma; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship Church, 2260 Porter St. SW, Wyoming, MI.
