Rosie was born Jan 7, 1868 in Armstrong County, a daughter of David and Catherine (Lamberson) Shumaker.
She was married to John C. Kunselman, who preceded Mrs. Kunselman in death in 1950.
She was a member of Oakdale Church of the Brethren, Distant. Surviving are three sons; Charles I. Kunselman of Templeton, Fred S. Kunselman of Kittanning RD 3 and Paul Kunselman of Distant; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Veronesi of Seminole, Mrs. Margaret Truitt of Batavia, N.Y., and Mrs. Edith White of Sharon; 40 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Miles A. Milliron of Applewold; two brothers, I.T. Shumaker of Jutnewville and Fred Shumaker of Ravenna, Ohio. A daughter, Crissie McGregor, preceded her mother in death 20 years ago.
Friends are being received at Alcorn Funeral Home Hawthorne, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of Templeton and Goheenville Presbyterian Churches, will officiate. He will be assisted by Rev. Charles E. Strater, pastor of Woodward Avenue Church of God, Kittanning.
Burial will be in the Distant Cemetery.
