F. HARLAN BOWMAN
F. HARLAN BOWMAN, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. He is now celebrating life in heaven after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. He was a former member of Calvary Temple where he faithfully served on the bus ministry. He retired in 1995 from Van Waters & Rogers after 34 years. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Joan; six children, Marvin (Linda) Bowman of Venice, Fla., Rita (Bob) Odquist of Huntington, Brenda Anderson, Deb Kage, Sue (Kim) Snyder, and Kelly (Chris) Watts, all of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Anna Singer of Freetown, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. Service is 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials to Parkinson's Foundation or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
