Sidney is the son of Thomas Barnfield and Ada Elizabeth Greening. Alfred George Barnfield is his uncle. He is baptised on 4/4/1890


The 1901 census lists Sidney with his parents, Thomas and Ada. Sidney is living with Alfred and Sarah in the 1911 census and it lists him as a nephew.
