The son of Lincoln and Elma Titus, Phil was born on February 11, 1932 in Taft, CA. He is survived by two sisters, Bernice Marshall of Bainbridge Island, WA and Marian Steely of Longview, WA.
Phil leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Ann L Titus (Azevedo). His pride and joy were his six children, a foster son and an adopted daughter, David Titus (Brenda) of Copperas Cove, TX, Susan Smith (Bill) of Griffin, GA, Dan Titus (Belinda) of Colusa, CA, Beth Murray (Scott) of Durham, CA, Linda Gerfen (Howard) of Butte Valley, CA, Date Titus (Kori) of Folsom, CA; foster son, Daniel Ocampo (Erin) of Chico, CA; and his adopted daughter, Sabrina Garcia (Tim) of Troy, TX. Together they have 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
After serving in the US Army for two years during the Korean Conflict, Phil began a new career with the Pacific Bell Telephone Company. He retired from the AT&T Telephone Company in 1987 after 31 years of service.
