Mrs. Sallie Ramsey, 73, of 2502 5th St., Northport, died Monday at Druid City Hospital.

Funeral services were to be today at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Northport with the Rev. Billy York officiating. Burial was to be in the Williamson Cemetery in Northport with Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Surviving are her husband, William Ollie Ramsey of Northport; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Ramsey Thomson of Starkville, Miss., a sister, Miss Neicie Robertson of Northport, a brother, Roy Robertson of Northport; two grandsons and three neices.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Northport and was active in church. She was retired from the Tuscaloosa Abstract and Tuscaloosa Title Co. where she was employed for 46 years.

Active pallbearers were to be J.W. Smith, A.W. Stephens, A.C. Powell, Gene Fondren, W. Dan Morrison, and Leon Scott.

Honorary pallbearers were to be W.O. Pinion, J.T. Barnette, James R. Maxwell, Lewis Faucett, S. P. Faucett Jr., John C. Pearson, George M. Hamner, James R. Thomson, Bailey Thomson, Dr. Sam Davis, George W. Christian, John Hill Curry, Charles D. Mitchell, John Rushing, H.D. Lancaster, Henry Lindsey, Walter B. Maxwell and J. J. Darden.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church of Northport building fund.
