"Chacy Adams Wall was the youngest of 10 children of John Wall and Lucy Adams, founders of High Shoal Baptist Church. Chacy married John Moton Goode, Jr. in 1844 when she was around 22 years old. John and Chacy had 9 children & 59 grandchildren! One of their two sons, the Rev. James Millard Goode, became a well-known pastor in the area. Chacy was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church all of her life. She lived to the age of 65."
