On 15 Oct 1960, she joined James L Jones in marriage and this union produced two children; Renee and Cliff. Their family made their home in Newton, Iowa. Shirley worked in the kitchen at Berg and also did daycare for fifteen years. She was an active member of the First Christian Church and love her family, especially her grandchildren. Shirley collected angels, enjoyed scrap booking, and the outdoors. She was a loving and devoted wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.
Shirley left behind her husband JIm, son and daughter-in-law Cliff & Amy Jones, her daughter and son-in-law Renee & Bernie Oskam, 10 grandchildren, her brother Jim & Kay Hamilton, and her other brother Stan Hamilton, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Dustin Jones.
Services were held and the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton, Iowa, with interment at the Newton Union Cemetery.
