Michael was a well known exploration geologist with more than 28 years of experience; he specialized in the exploration and development of porphyry copper deposits. He worked for Phelps Dodge for 16 years at Morenci and Safford area in various geologic positions managing drilling programs and working to increase the company's resources and reserves. He developed his own projects as Geologist, President and Director of Copper One Inc. and had an important role in the geology program to develop the Rosemont Copper project. He was active in Society of Mining, Metallurgy, & Exploration, Arizona Geological Society, and other earth science societies.
