William Guthrie Hauk was employed as a sanitary inspector with the city health department died suddenly at 8:30 o'clock this morning at his home 1521 Twentieth Avenue. he was born in Chambersburg, Pa on September 23, 1890, a son of Theodore and Emma (McClure) Hauk. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nellie (Davis) Hauk; two sons, George William and Donald Theodore, both at home; two brothers and one sister, Charles M. and Walter Hauk and Mrs. Mary Vaughn, all of Altoona. Mr. Hauk was member of the First Lutheran church and of the Mizpah class of the Sunday school.
