Richard N. Archambault, 80, of Manchester, the husband of Lilian (Neale) Archambault, died Thursday (November 19, 2009) at Manchester Memorial Hospital.


Born in Rhode Island, he was the son of Sirgellus and Cecile Archambault and had lived in Manchester for many years. He was a US Air Force veteran of World War II and was a self-employed building contractor.


Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Robert P. Archambault and his wife Bonnie of Hebron, Brian C. Archambault of Manchester and Neil J. Archambault and his wife Leslie of Manchester; his grandchildren Timothy, Nicole, Alysha, Erik, Alexis, Madison and Jack; and his great-grandchildren Colby, Erik Jr. and Madeline. He is also survived by his siblings Bernard and his wife Sandy, Maurice and his wife Elaine, Jean and his wife Donna, Henry and his wife Bernice, Ronald and his wife Jean, Pauline Archambault, and Jeanne Stevens and her husband Ray, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Cathy, his son Steven, and siblings Paul and Roger.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center Street, Manchester, followed by burial with full military honors in Hillstown Road Cemetery, Manchester.
Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
