Elsie L. Crum, 81 of Caldwell, died Friday (Dec 31, 1999) at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta. She was born May 22, 1918, in Elk Township, Noble County daughter of the late James Lynn and Jemima (Springer) Cunningham. Mrs. Crum was a homemaker and a graduate of Harriettsville High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Crum, whom she married Feb. 2, 1936, and who died March 6, 1988; a son, Ronald W. Crum; two brothers, Howard Cunningham and Ernest "Dick" Cunningham; three sisters, Clara Lee, Mae Ullman and Nola Wilson. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. James F. (Bonnie) Arnold of Caldwell; daughter-in-law, Wanda L. Crum of Caldwell; grandchildren, Steven Crum. Darrell (Susan) Crum, Jeffrey Arnold and Jennifer (Rob) Molody; six great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Murphy- McCurdy Funeral Home, Caldwell, where services will be 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Gary Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery, Caldwell.
