Mrs. Annie Engelking, 89, died Friday, Sept. 7 at 1:45 a.m. in Knopp Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. in Etlinger Funeral Home, Sealy, with the Rev. Will Rotter officiating. Beckmann Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Engeling was the former Annie Schirpik. She was born Aug. 23, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schirpik. She was married to Ferdinand Charles Engelking who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children, Dr. Charles Engelking of San Angelo, Mrs. Elsie Prause, Hallettsville, and Mrs. Evelyn Weynand, Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Otto Schirpik of Granger, Texas.
