Raymond C. Mueller, 94, Seymour, passed away early Monday morning, Nov. 23, 2009, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.

He was born Dec. 30, 1914, to the late Alfred and Emma (Stellmacher) Mueller.

On June 21, 1939, he was united in marriage to Blossom T. Weier. The couple celebrated 64 years of marriage together until her death on July 7, 2003.

Ray farmed until 1974 and then worked for Seymour Canning Company. He was a Maintenance Superintendent with the Outagamie County Fairgrounds and was involved with the operations until the age of 91.

He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a town of Seymour Assessor for over 50 years. He enjoyed his family.

Survivors include his children, Jan Johnson, Middleburg, Va.; Carol Truel, Miami Lakes, Fla.; Ron (Debbie) Mueller, Hendersonville, N.C.; Jack (Roberta) Mueller, Seymour; six grandchildren, Terry Johnson, Brad (Patricia) and Ryan Truel, Brian (Catherine) Mueller and Sara (Joseph) Bonnin, and Maxine Mueller; and six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Blossom and John Truel, Dante Ametrano, Jacob Bonnin and Bridgette Mueller.

He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, from noon until funeral services at 2 p.m. with Pastor Grant Applehans officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
