Lois Corinne Allison, 93, Augusta, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at the Augusta First United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta.
Lois was born on April 19, 1914 in Greensburg to George Bismark and Mary Isadora Rose Schulz.
On Dec. 20, 1934 she married Burl Allison, Jr. at the Methodist parsonage in Augusta. To this union three children were born; Stephen, George Michael, and Susan.
For many years, she operated a beauty shop out of her home on State Street in Augusta.
She is survived by; her husband, Burl, Jr. of Augusta; sister, Marjorie Bornholdt of Overland Park; her children, Stephen Allison and wife, Sue of Wichita, Dr. Mike Allison and wife, Sally of Great Bend, and Susan Lytton and husband, Bob of Augusta; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Millard Schulz and Kenneth Schulz, and grandson, Chris Allison.
She was a member of Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Augusta.
Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202, and to the First United Methodist Church of Augusta.
