At the time of her death she was a 22 year old Senior in college at the University of Washington and a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She majored in Economics and Construction Management.
She also was a 2006 Graduate of Richland High School.
She was a very active and vibrant girl. Her fellows say that Brittany had a "heart of pure gold". She had a tremendous love of life, a big, beautiful smile and in her too short life, had accomplished many exceptional achievements.
Brittany, attended elementary schools in California, Taiwan and Singapore before moving to Richland, Washington.
Brittany loved people and enjoyed learning about other cultures. She traveled widely and had visited all but one continent.
Brittany, was hit by a car on the morning of November 11, 2009 while doing a morning run and she received serious cranial injuries.
Brittany, passed away on the afternoon of November 12, 2009 at Harborview Medical Center after she was taken of life support.
Brittany will most be remembered for her passion for life, commitment and loyalty toward her many friends, her strong relationship with her parents, her impressive work ethic and her contagious joy and laughter.
