The daughter of the late William and Mollie (Kopatz) Kostrova was born on Aug. 25, 1920, on the home farm in Klondike. She was married to William (Boy) Van Drisse on Sept. 30, 1939. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Brazeau. Lillian also worked at Coleman Products, Country Gardens, Inc. in Coleman, and was a waitress at the Hut in Pound. She was a very active member of Section Eight Baptist Church, Pound.
Surviving are seven children, Bev (Jim) Ziemer, Abrams; Darel Van Drisse, Coleman; Nancy (Harvey) Kostreva, Pound; Donald (Rose Ann) Van Drisse, Pound; Janice (Lynn) Hoida, Pound; Debbie (John) Tassoul, Green Bay; and Kim Poczatek, Green Bay; 16 grandchildren, 28 great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, William (Boy) who died in July 2006, she was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Bennett Ziemer; seven brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Section Eight Baptist Church, W10088 W. 20th Rd., Pound from 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, until the time of services at 2 p.m. Rev. Don Couwenhoven will officiate with burial in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
