Terry Davis Alexander, 29 years of age, of route 7, died in the Anderson Memorial hospital Monday afternoon from injuries received in a motorcycle accident August 14.
Terry was born in Elbert County, a son of Mrs. Lula Frances Davis Alexander, who survives him and the late Hugh Herbert Alexander. He was a building contractor and a member of Flatwoods Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs Sadie Louise Rice Alexander, of the home; two daughters, Betty Joe Alexander and Crystal Lee Alexander, both of the home; one son, Terry Davis Alexander Jr, of the home; three sisters, Mrs Brown Beasley and Mrs Mack Hudson of Elberton, and Mrs Mack Purdy of Abbeville, SC; three brothers, George Alton Alexander of Elberton, Hugh Herbert Alexander Jr of Aiken, SC, and Fred Marshall Alexander of Abbeville, SC.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the Flatwoods Penecostal Church. The Rev Phillip Hart, the Rev C.B. Elkins and the Rev Kenneth Huitt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fred Alexander, Kenneth Alexander, Mack Hudson Jr, William Bunch, William Boswell, Larry Hart, Darrell Thomson and Marshall Wilson.
