"Judy", a popular, local Johnson county, Kansas jeweler, husband and her two guests, along with some 200 others, were on the second floor skywalk when the fourth floor skywalk collapsed onto it causing it to collapse resulting with she & her two guests being among 114 killed 17 July 1981 with another 216 seriously injured, including her, badly injured, surviving husband, S C Boggess, III who lay helplessly trapped between the fourth and second floor walkways.
"Judy" was mother of three children and proud owner of four Italian Greyhound dogs.
"Judy", after husband left the navy, removed to St Louis, Missouri, Naples, Florida, Richmond, Virginia, and Lenexa, Kansas, now is at rest in Resurrection cemetery, Lenexa, Johnson county, Kansas
