The 72-year old resident was born Feb. 26, 1893 in Painesville, a son of the late Stephen and Jessie L. Rudiforth Brisbin, and has been a resident of the area all his life.
He retired five years ago from the Diamond Alkali Co. where he worked as a carpenter.
He was a member of the Painesville Methodist Church, the IOOF Cornucopia Lodge Painesville; the Painesville Grange, and was president of the Diamond Alkali Retirement Club.
His wife, Pearl Chapman Brisbin, preceded him in death Feb. 23, 1962.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Marjorie E.) Babcock, Painesville; two brothers, John R. (Jessie) Brisbin, Lyndhurst, and Roy (Cleo) Brisbin of California.
Two grandchildren also survive.
