Chester F. Bass, 50, of Albion, died Monday, June 24, 1991, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel.

Funeral services will be Thursday at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney with Rev Darrell Clark officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Claremont.

Mr. Bass was born March 4, 1941 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Barnett and Frances (Hale) Bass. He married Carol Harmon March 25, 1989 in Evansville, IN.

He worked in the Maintenance Department of Delux industries, Inc. in Evansville. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Evansville, IN and the Sportsman Club in Albion.

Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Carol, Albion: two sons; Chester Jay Bass, Jr., Gainsville, FL and Anthony Bass, Albany, GA; one step-son, Randy Dickerson, Albion; two daughters, Tonya Hayes and Sharon Davidson, both of Albany, GA; three brothers, Barnett Bass, Vincennes, IN, David Bass, Fort Branch, IN, and John Bass, Mt. Vernon, IN.; five sisters, Augusta Biggs and Rose Sanders, Vincennes, IN, Daisy Walker, Cincinnati, Ohio, Carrie Stroud, Evansville, IN and Ester Shaner, East Point, FL and three grandchildren.
