EUGENE BALSER, 46, of Bryan, Ohio, died Sunday at home.

The Fort Wayne native was a veterinarian and owner of Gene Balser's Animal Care Center in Bryan.

Surviving are a daughter, Nicole of Hicksville, Ohio; a son, Neil of Antwerp, Ohio; his mother, Dorothy Balser of Antwerp; and a brother, Jerry of Antwerp.

Private services were held in Pauley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Veterinary Medical Alumni scholarship fund, 1900 Coffey Road, Columbus, OH 43210.
