According to Harmony Grove Cemetery, University of Michigan Library, 2005. Page 23, Ducley Leavitt Pickman is buried here. He was the son of William and Eliza (Leavitt) Pickman. He was regarded as "a successful merchant, distinguished for his sound practical good sense and an inflexible regard to truth and justice."

Dudley Leavitt Pickman married 1st Catherine Sanders (bp. Aug 29, 1784-d. May 18, 1823 (about 1810) and had three children by her.
Catherine Sanders Pickman b. July 9, 1811
Elizabeth L. Pickman b. Sept. 22, 1814
and William Dudley Pickman b. Jan 1, 1819.

Catherine was sister to Mary Sanders, who arried Leverett Saltonstall Mar 7, 1811 and sister to Caroline Sanders, who married Nathaniel Saltonstall Nov 20, 1820.

All three were daughters to Elizabeth Elkins and Thomas Sanders, successful merchant of Salem who had also worked for Elias Hasket Derbey, Elizabeth Elkins Sanders' uncle.
