Opp, Ala.---George Washington Taylor, of Route 8, Andalusia, a retired farmer, died Friday following a brief illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Hood Taylor, of Andalusia; and G.W. Taylor, Jr. of Milton, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Icey Powell, Opp; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Dauphin, Opp; and Mrs. Laddie Stuckey, Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Jesse B. Taylor, Crestview, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22, from the Babbie Baptist Church with Rev. Hamp Nelson and Rev. Bobby Driver officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery with Rainer Funeral Home,of Opp, directing.
