Betty was born on September 5, 1929 in Roseville, IL to Max and Pearl Lee. She married William F. Kitchell on September 6, 1952 in Roseville, IL. He died on January 25, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty was a teacher for many years, teaching for the El Paso school district before she retired.
She was a member of the Good Shepard Community Church in El Paso, where she served as a deaconess.
Betty was an avid golfer and a lifelong fitness walker.
