Cleota Bernice Shackelford, 94, of Heritage Manor, 5608 S.W.Ninth St., died of congestive heart failure Saturday at home. Services will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Southtown Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Shackelford was born in Van Meter and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a member of the Des Moines Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a son, Mahlon Wilcox of Palm Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Marie Ball of Ankeny.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.
