Pawnee, March 12 - Thomas Jefferson Burris, 86, died at his home 2 1/2 miles southeast of Pawnee this afternoon. Decedent is survived by his wife, Minnie; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Haire, and a son, Levi. A niece and a nephew, Grace and Milo Matheney, who have resided with Mr. Burris since childhood, also survive.
Funeral services held at the residence Monday morning. Interment will be made in Cumberland cemetery.
