Thomas Pate "TP" Owen, age 58, of Apple Valley, California passed away October 31, 2005, at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Apple Valley.

Born September 3, 1947 in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Tom Bush Owen and Clarice "Deane" (Williams) Owen.

T.P. graduated from Auxvasse High School in Missouri in 1965 and worked as a L.V.N. Nurse for several years. He loved his family, especially his mother, flowers and decorating.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Deane Owen of Apple Valley, California; two brothers, Billy Ray (Donna) Owen of Fulton, Missouri and Carl Wood (Connie) Owen of Huntington Beach, California; two neices, Shari (Mike) (Owen) Curtis of Victorville, California and Lisa Owen of Long Beach, California; three nephews, Billy Ray Jr (Ana) Owen of Auxvasse, Missouri, Jon Owen of Fulton, Missouri, Ryan Owen of Anaheim, California; three great-neices, Elizabeth Owen of California state, Billie and Jillian Owen of Auxvasse, Missouri; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and friends, including his best friend and cousin Patty Williams Atterberry.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Tom Bush Owen and his maternal grandparents, Joseph Thomas "Tom" and Lela (Craighead) Williams.

TP graduated from Auxvasse High School and recieved several degrees from colleges in Missouri and California. He worked as an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) for several years. He loved to learn. He also loved to garden and decorate homes which he was very good at. He loved his family, especially his mother. He was also very fond of his dogs.

Graveside services at 1:00PM Sunday, November 6, 2005, at Auxvasse Cemetary in Auxvasse, Missouri with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton before the service. Burial was in Auxvasse Cemetery.
