Gary Raymond "BoBo" McLain, Sr. was born to Kenneth "Red" and Elizabeth Ann McLain on May 31, 1955 in Mobile, AL. He graduated from East Central High School, served in the U.S. Army, and was an employee of Ingalls and Northrop Grumman for 28 years. "BoBo" was called home after a battle with cancer on November 25, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth "Red" McLain; a son, Christopher Lundy; his sister, Kelly McLain; his brother, Ronnie McLain. Gary leaves to cherish his memories his lifelong companion LaJuana McLain; a son, Gary Raymond McLain, Jr.; a daughter, Amanda McLain; a son-in-law, Alfred Mercer, III; three grandchildren, Emily McLain, Alexandria and A.J. Mercer, IV; his mother, Ann McLain; his brother, John McLain; special nephew, Kenneth McLain; mother-in-law, Lois Saunders Price; special friends, Leda and Russell Griffith, Sr.; other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11AM Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1704 Ladnier Road in Gautier, MS. Visitation will be at the church two hour prior to service time.
