Mary Jo Alexander, 73, of Muscle Shoals, died Thursday June 26, 2003. The funeral service was Saturday, June 28 at Mt Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church with David Dickey and Chad Holder officiating. Burial was at mt pleasant cemetery.
She was a native of Colbert County and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Alexander and her father Samuel Henry Alexander and mother Louise Waddell Alexander. Her brother Donald Alexander and sister Dorothy Mcdonald.
She is survived by her son Sammy Alexander, daughter Sally Alexander, sister: Dee Nemitz, and grandchildren: Beth Scott, Brian Alexander, and, Chris Alexander and great grandchildren: Whitney, Alex and Rachel Scott.
Pallbearers were Brian Alexander, Tim Alexander, Tracey Jordan, Colin Jordan, Matt McDonald, Terry McDonald, Bobby Holder and Brandon Tolbert.
