Gertrude Monalee Bates Warvel, of Dayton OH, died January 9, 1978 at her residence as a result of smoke and fumes inhalation after a fire broke out at her home. She was a retired registered nurse having worked at Delco-Moraine Medical Department. She was a 1938 graduate of The Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association. She is survived by her husband Emerson S. Warvel and her mother, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews
