L. Earl Alston of Venice, FL owner and operator of a trailer park and motel, died Friday, July 7 at Venice Hospital. He was 69.
Born in Collins, Mississippi, he came to the area in 1932 from Perry. He leaves his wife, Sue Ethel; brothers, William C. of Bowling Green, FL George and Nathan of Englewood; sisters, Mrs. Herbert Hunter of Englewood and Mrs. J. C. McJunkin, Fernandina Beach, FL.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 10 at the Rawles Funeral Home, Englewood, with Dr. W. W. Cutlip of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Lemon Bay Cemetery.
