She was the second wife of Joe Wells. They were married Feb 28, 1920. Her parents were James Campbell Housley and Ollie Ivey Housley. She was the mother of 11 children. Ruby, R. L., James Mac, Floyd Hugh, Anna Mae, Everett, Roy, Troy Wells. She lost 3 children as infants, Joe, Willie, and Mency Jane Wells. She was my grandmother. I never knew her, but I always missed not having a grandmother. She passed away at age 46 of cancer. She also helped raise the children from her husband's first marriage. She was a remarkable woman.
