Mrs. Queenie Leola Rose, 71, Athens, died Saturday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Fred Lackey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence K. Rose of Athens; a sister, Mrs. Jasper Greenhaw; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Collier of Troy, Mrs. Margie Looney and Mrs. Gloria Smith, both of Athens and Cynthia June Wallace of Huntsville; two sons, George A. Rose and Griggs Rose, both of Athens; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
