Son of Michael Richard Wyrick 1795-1877
and Lucinda (Jones) Wyrick, 1799-1870/1875
both from Virginia

Aged Pioneer Gone. Michael Wyrick died at his homes two miles south of Tuscumbia, Monday evening at 6:00 o'clock, at the age of eighty-four years. Death was due to old age, superinduced by dropsy of the heart.

Mr. Wyrick was born in Tennessee. He came to this county when about fifteen years of age and spent practically all his life on the farm where he died.

He was married when a young man to Miss Laura Golden, who survives him. Two children, George and D.M., who were born to this union, are still living. George resides on his father's place, and D. M. resides on a farm four miles east of Tuscumbia. Besides the two sons and the wife who survive him, he leaves a large number of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.

Burial was made at Mt. Zion cemetery.

Three weeks preceding, to the day, his brother, John Wyrick of near Spring Garden, passed away.
