Marilyn Rae George Fussell, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on November 26, 2009 at Christus St. Joseph Villa.


Called home by her Heavenly Father, she rejoined the love of her life and eternal companion, Clover Leslie Fussell Jr., on their next great adventure together.


Marilyn was greeted by her grandson, Christian Clover Porter, sister, Judy Allison, brother-in-law, Dick Allison and parents, Allen and Verona George. She is survived by sister, Sheila (Bob) Huntington; children: Kathy (Kim) Hills; Richard (Kerry) Fussell; Cheri Shubert; Marilee (Dan) Greenland; and Peggy (Edwin) Porter. She will be missed greatly by her fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mount Jordan Stake Center, 9331 South 300 East, Sandy, preceded by a viewing from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A viewing will also be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Boulevard (7600 South), Cottonwood Heights.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
