Disease of the heart was the cause of the death of Luther Spillman, at his home, 1130 Osage street, last night. Mr. Spillman was a well-known oil field worker of this city, and has lived here for the past few years. he had been confined to his bed for several weeks.
He was born in Lawrence County, Mo., August 22, 1871, making him fifty-six years of age at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow Bertha (Friesner) and six children: Mrs. Jesse Bozart, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and Luther, Dorothy, Nathan, Halford and Emily Faye of the home.
Funeral Services are being arranged by the Rev. C.T. Ilsley of the Baptist Church. They will be held at the Dunsford Funeral Home at 2 o'clock Saturday. Interment will be made in Elmwood Cemetery.
