Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for Mrs. Euna Alverson Forney, 87, Gadsden, who died Thursday, March 17, 2005. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of services.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Forney.
She is survived by her sons, Jim (Lynda) Forney, Gadsden, and Steve (Linda) Forney, Tallassee; grandchildren, Robert (Lee) Forney, Stacey (Jeremy) Olds, Matt Forney, and Jana (Jeff) McCarty; two great grandsons, Daniel and Michael Forney and numerous nieces and nephews.
