Born April 3, 1964, in Waverly, a son of Mary Lou Stahl Karrick and the late James Carlyle Karrick, he was an employee of Bellisio Foods in Jackson and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Christine Adkins of Jackson; one brother, Mark Karrick of King George, Va.; one niece, Rebekah McCarthy; and one nephew, Mark Aaron Karrick.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Wilma Karrick, and Mark and Louise Stahl; and one brother-in-law, Bryan K. Adkins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford, with Pastor Major Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the James Irwin Post No.622 America Legion.
